Happy Thanksgiving week friends!

I recently saw a picture of an adorable pumpkin pie banner on Pinterest and I decided to recreate it myself! I’m sharing a tutorial with you all today. I really love how it looks on our mantel!

This is a cute, quick, inexpensive DIY, plus it won’t take away from any of your Turkey day cooking! In fact, it’ll probably be the easiest {and cheapest} pumpkin pie you’ve ever made!

Trick or Treat!

Can you believe it’s already October? This year has FLOWN by! Much to my delight, Texas has had a nice cold snap this week! It finally feels a bit like fall around here.

Halloween can be controversial sometimes, especially among Christians. It is viewed as a pagan holiday, immoral and a waste of time. To me, Halloween is a fantastic opportunity to have fun, eat some candy, and fellowship with your neighbors. It is a great way to shine the light of Jesus in your community while also glorifying God with your actions.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

//MATTHEW 5:16//

I have always loved dressing up for Halloween. When I was younger it gave me a chance to be the characters I loved for a night and make fun memories. Now that I’m older I get to just be silly and have fun with dress-up. Costumes tend to be time consuming and pricey. That’s why I whipped up these easy, last-minute costumes that you can create on a budget, in a flash! If you’re still in the market for a Halloween costume, these ideas are for you!

Tools of the Trade |Bible Journaling|

Recently, I wrote a post about art journaling in your Bible. If you’ve seen pictures of Bible art journaling, it may seem like you need the entire inventory of Michaels to create these works of art. Don’t worry, that’s not the case at all! In fact, all you really need is a journaling bible, a pen, maybe a few colored pencils, and a heart that yearns for more of Jesus. Anything else is an extra blessing! This is simply about connecting with God in the most meaningful way to you.

You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for your Word to renew me.

Good Thymes

Hello all!

So sorry for being MIA for the past couple weeks! Today, I have a simple spring craft to share. My family and I have been testing out our green thumbs this season with a small vegetable garden and herb garden. To keep our little sprouts separate, I decided to make some cute little herb markers.Lines-02 Read More
