You Are SO Loved

Social media tells you that you’re less-than perfect. Your report card says you’ll never amount to much. The mirror highlights all of your flaws. The messes in your house remind you that you can’t do it all. Your silent phone implies that you don’t matter.

The enemy enjoys hurling lies at women who fear God. He jumps for joy when they believe them. Doesn’t it make you shudder that satan is relishing in the fact that you believe those detrimental lies?? It should.

C.S. Lewis once said “we are who we believe we are.”  We girls tend to place a lot of value in reputation, appearance, and performance, among other things. It’s time to stop agreeing with the lies of the enemy and start believing that we are loved and cherished by the King.

The fact that you are loved by God should be the most important thing about you. When you walk in the freedom that His love brings you radiate that same love to others. No matter who believes in you or who rejects you, if you believe that you are loved by God and that He fights for you, you will be sustained.

You are known and remembered by the most majestic, powerful, and glorious Being in the universe! You are loved by the King of infinite space and everlasting time! He who created and knows the stars knows you and your name–you are the daughters of His kingdom.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

{Ephesians 2:4-5}

 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

{1 John 4:9-11}

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

{Galatians 2:20}

Heavenly Father, I pray that whoever is reading this can grasp the depth of your unconditional love. Be with those who are struggling to receive that love. Shower your affection over us and reveal the mysteries of Yourself to those who seek you. Thank you for providing Jesus as the way for us to encounter your perfect love. Thank you for loving us despite our sin, failures and brokenness. I  love you Lord, and it’s your name I pray, amen.

From now on, try to abandon your desire for the admiration of the world and rest in the amazing love of your precious Father. Never forget that you are SO LOVED! Don’t forget to spread the word about His unconditional love.
Blessings friends,

  1. X’s and O’s Kaytlyn!
    Great reminder that our identity in Christ is all that matters.
    Greater is He who is in me (us) then he who is in the world!
    Thank you!
